On February 12, 2025, a dedicated working meeting was held to present the BUES’ new internship platform, an innovative project aimed at digitizing and streamlining the internship process for students.
The event gathered Prof. Dorel Mihai Paraschiv, Ph.D – Vice-Rector for Relations with the Socio-Economic Environment and Student Life, Prof. Paul Pocatilu, Ph.D – Vice-Rector for Information Infrastructure Development and Logistics, the deans of the BUES’s faculties, together with the vice-deans responsible for relations with the socioeconomic environment and student life, as well as the team of developers of the application, Chess Coders.
This initiative is supported by KPMG, through the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems and its main objective is to modernize and simplify the internship process, offering students, professors and internship partners an intuitive and efficient digital tool.
The new platform makes it easier to manage all aspects of the internship, from identifying relevant opportunities to monitoring progress, thus reducing administrative burdens and improving the user experience.
With this digital solution, BUES is taking an important step towards integrating technology into the educational process, strengthening the link between academia and business while supporting students in developing the skills needed for a successful career.
