Recognition of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies within the Internal Audit Awareness Program
The Bucharest University of Economic Studies was recognized within the Internal Audit Awareness Program of The Institute of Internal Auditors as a result of the efforts undertaken by the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems.
The Internal Audit Awareness program was created to recognize the commitment and efforts that universities are undertaking to provide students with the necessary information and skills to choose a career in internal auditing.
To support the student education process and to help meet the demand for internal audit graduates prepared to join the workforce, the Institute of Internal Auditors supports accredited colleges and universities that meet specific criteria and contribute significantly to the educational advancement of internal auditing.
This recognition not only underscores the excellence of internal auditing curricula, but also reinforces the reputation of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies as a leader in preparing future practitioners in the field of internal auditing.

International Conference “Globalization and Higher Education in Economics and Business Administration”
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, has the pleasure to announce the organization of the 16th edition of its International Conference “Globalization and Higher Education in Economics and Business Administration” (GEBA 2024).

Erasmus+ workshop for teachers
The Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems, in collaboration with the Erasmus department, hosted an Erasmus+ mobility workshop. The session, which took place on 3 July 2024, focused on the various mobility opportunities, the benefits of participating in the programme and the steps needed to successfully apply. Additionally, Professors Cleopatra Șendroiu and Mădălina Dumitru shared insights from their Erasmus+ experiences.

ACCA Certificate in Sustainability for Finance
Given the exponential growth in the importance of sustainability in general and in the accounting profession in particular (through sustainability reporting), the Faculty of Accounting and Management Informatics together with ACCA has developed a program to support students (financial and coursework/mentoring) to obtain the ACCA Sustainability for Finance Certificate. The certificate is an important asset in the labour market.

University Management Accounting Accounting Day (UMAD) in collaboration with CIMA (21.10.2019)
The student event was organized in partnership with an international accounting professional body
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), one of the international bodies of the accounting profession that has recognized the undergraduate program of the Faculty CIG, organized in BUES, as well as in other partner universities in the region, the University Management Accounting Day CEE region on October 21, 2019. During the evenimnet, first year students worked in teams in business games and were awarded for their achievements. This event aimed to expose students to an international working environment and develop communication, teamwork and time management skills.
